Our Love Story

How We Met

Matt and Afeeza first crossed paths in the summer of 2020, when the world felt uncertain and everything seemed to be standing still. In the middle of a global pandemic, they found something unexpected in each other. What began as a few simple summer hangouts quickly turned into something neither of them could ignore.

Today, they share a home (and their hearts) with their beloved cat, Masie. Together, they fill their days traveling to new places, trying new foods, getting competitive over board games, and exploring the outdoors. Through every season of life, their greatest joy has been building it side by side.

They can't wait to spend the rest of their lives together, and this is only the beginning.

How He Proposed

On a picturesque evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Matt ambushed Afeeza with a photographer on a cliffside. Memories of laughter filled the air, and the moment felt perfect.

He popped the question and she said 'yes!'

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn and Suites Bradford for our guests. Please use the link below to book your accommodation at our special group rate. The group block will be active until May 31st, 2026.

For your convenience, we have arranged a taxi service to transport guests from the reception venue to the hotel. This service will be available at the conclusion of the reception festivities.

We want to ensure that all our guests can enjoy the celebration without concern for transportation arrangements.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for!

As we begin our life together, we already have everything we need for our home. If you would like to honor us with a gift, we would be deeply grateful for a monetary contribution towards our honeymoon and the purchase of our first home.

Can I bring my child?

Please note that due to venue capacity limitations, this is an adult/19+ only celebration. We thank you for your understanding.

Is there a dress code?

We kindly suggest formal or cocktail attire. As the celebration will take place outdoors in a garden setting, we recommend choosing footwear and fabrics that will be comfortable on grass.

Can I bring a plus one?

Plus ones have been assigned to specific parties in the RSVP section. If your party has been allocated a plus one, you will see this option when completing your RSVP. If a plus one has not been assigned to your party, we regret that we are unable to accommodate additional guests due to venue capacity limitations. We appreciate your understanding.

Will transportation be provided?

For your convenience, a taxi service will be providing rides to the hotel following the reception.

What should I know about the venue?

The venue is an all-grass property. Please wear shoes appropriate for your comfort.

Will there be cell service?

Cell service is not reliable at the venue. We recommend planning accordingly. As mentioned above, the bride and groom will be providing a taxi service to the hotel following the reception.

Is there anything else I should know?

The venue is private property. We ask that all guests be respectful of the space and our neighbours.
